ABTRACT
This thesis is part of high diploma degree at Lao-Top College with the topic: “Awareness toward Using Prefixes and Suffix: A case study of Year-III student at Lao-Top College” As we know well there are many countries in around the world use English as international language. Therefore, I want to know the awareness students who learn English at Lao-Top College.
The objectives of this research are:
- To find out students’ awareness toward Prefixes and Suffixes.
- To find out the reason why learning English prefixes and suffixes is important.
This thesis used the questionnaires as a main tool to collect the information and data from the participants. The questionnaires have 5 main parts. The first part is personal information. There contained 3 questions such as gender, age, and class. Secondly, it aims to get an awareness of prefixes and suffixes. There were 3 questions. The third part is to get test questions about types of both prefixes and suffixes. The fourth part is to see the how important the prefixes and suffixes is in students’ way. The last one is to get the opinion of students on prefixes and suffixes
The research included 5 chapter such as chapter 1 Introduction, chapter 2 Literature Review and Related Research, chapter 3 Research Methodology, chapter 4 Result and Interpretation, and chapter 5 Conclusion, Discussion, and Suggestions.
