The major objectives of this research are:

  • To find out the benefit of learning English
  • To find out the best technic for learning English 
  • To find out students’ Attitude and Behavior Towards Learning English at Gold English Institute.

Questionnaire is the main tool to collect the information and data. The questionnaire will be divided into parts: personal questions, question about attitude and behavior. Moreover, open, close checklist and ranked types so to be consisted in the questionnaire.

In addition, I use the SPSS program to analyze the data and analyze about the questionnaire respondent by separating for frequency and bring all research results to consisted to the contextual. Data analysis I using program of Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS) to analyze the data in order to find out “Students’ attitude and behavior towards learning English at Gold English Institute.”

The findings revealed that majority of the students of 4 classes at Gold English Institute strongly believe that nowadays, young Lao people think it is very important to learn English; if they learn to speak English very well, it will help them to get a good job. They also regard they can improve their English if they often learn with English native speakers. In contrast, they should not say anything in English until they can say it correctly. They also reported disagreeing that they learn English only one hour per week.
